Join us for WYA’s orientation Kick Off Event at Hilltop Hanover Farms! This is a great way to get involved. Here are some cool details about what we will be doing to help out:

• Weeding 

• Native seed collecting for testing and sorting for the winter 

• Harvest and identify ripe vegetable. Learn how to pick, store and wash for food donation with Second Chance Foods 

• Transplanting 

• Animal feeding and watering 

• Volunteers can taste the food as they harvest 

• Bring a water bottle, bug spray and sunscreen, sturdy shoes not sandals 

• All proceeds will be donated to local food pantries 

• There will be free ice-cream for all participants
