Join us for WYA’s End of the Year Service Event at Hilltop Hanover Farms! This is a great way to get involved. Here are some cool details about what we will be doing to help out:

• Weeding

• Native seed collecting for testing and sorting for the winter

• Plant and identify ripe vegetable. Learn how to pick, store and wash for food donation with Second Chance Foods

• Transplanting

• Animal feeding and watering

Volunteers can taste the food as they harvest! Bring a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and sturdy shoes (not sandals)!

End the day with a panel discussion about regenerative agriculture and local food insecurity with farmers from Hilltop Hanover Farms. There will be free snacks and ice cream for all participants!
