This fall, WYA's Embodied Civic Conversations workshop invites teens to explore what it means to truly listen and be heard. Facilitated by artist and social practitioner Kris Grey, this program goes beyond traditional discussion, integrating movement, storytelling, and reflective writing into the practice of civic dialogue.
Participants will co-create group agreements, explore identity through storytelling and movement, and practice dialogue skills like active listening and speaking from personal experience. It's a space to reflect, connect, and discover new ways to engage with the issues and perspectives that shape our communities.
No experience needed- just a willingness to show up, listen, and be part of the conversation.
