Martin Luther King, Jr. Legacy Workshop - Finding Your Personal Power

Learn about MLK's legacy of authenticity, courage and service; Workshop with spoken word artist Giovanni Green and create your personal statement of power; help design a community mural and leave inspired.

This program is in partnership with the YWCA of White Plains and it is open to ages 10 and up. Warm breakfast will be served.

The WYA is a committee of teens from youth groups all over Westchester. We come together to put on effective youth-led peer education and service events.

How to get involved

We are a year around program but our opportunities vary depending on the season. We’re looking for high school youth to lead exciting and dynamic community projects this fall through spring 2023
