The Refugee Journey (2025)

Students from UJA New York Federation J-Teen, the Westchester Youth Alliance, and ReSET Westchester came together for an evening of meaningful dialogue and connection. A teenage Afghan student shared her journey to the United States, sparking a conversation marked by profound respect and empathy as young people from different backgrounds demonstrated that differences in opinion, religious belief, and culture need not divide us. Events like these remind us of the power of compassion, kindness, and genuine regard for the dignity of all people. A heartfelt thank you to our partners at UJA Federation NY and ReSET Westchester for the warmth and guidance they offer to the refugee community!
